WithWild offer the supply of high-quality wild venison to retailers across NZ, including more than 40 hospitality and high-end restaurants, while also protecting the local ecosystem that lies within 175,000 hectares of wilderness in the Fiordland National Park.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>\u201cOur mission is to create more sustainable models that change the perception around pest control in New Zealand, and aid in preserving our unique flora and fauna for future generations.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Today, WithWild in partnership with Fiordland Wapiti Foundation and the Department of Conservation have managed to reduce 1500+ wild wapiti from Fiordland National Park, while also contributing funds to support conservation efforts such as predator control to protect endangered species and biodiversity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWapiti is our first project, it\u2019s our crown jewel, but we\u2019d like to expand into other introduced species in other national parks. Ultimately, we want to make a solution out of a problem, and then donate back into the area. For us, there\u2019s no point in doing it if its not making a difference.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Not only are we supporting the local ecosystem, but WithWild Fiordland Venison comes with great nutrition benefits, too:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Low Saturated Fat Content<\/strong>: Wild venison is a lot leaner than other red meats like beef and lamb which means it\u2019s lower in saturated fat. This is the type of fat we want to minimise in our diet.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Good source of protein:&nbsp;<\/strong>WithWild venison is a good source of protein and contains around 22 grams protein per 100 grams.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Nutrient Density<\/strong>: WithWild venison is a good source of essential vitamins and minerals, including iron, zinc, and B vitamins (i.e. B12, B6 and B3).
