Their blackcurrants are grown in South Canterbury &amp; have a vitamin C &amp; anti-oxidant punch (making them perfect for fighting off any pre-winter ills or chills!). As well as this special smoothie recipe, we\u2019ve got some other fave ways to use the powder too. Stir into yoghurt, coat &amp; toast nuts for a trail mix or add to a healthy baking mix. Enjoy!<\/em><\/p>\n<figure>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" data-width=\"1439\" data-height=\"960\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn-images-1.medium.com\/max\/800\/1*TKUD_lCmpUiDHNXJiq8aTw.jpeg\" alt=\"\" title=\"\"><br \/>\n<\/figure>\n<p><strong><em>Ingredients<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>1 tbsp ViBERi blackcurrant powder<br \/>\u00bd frozen banana, peeled<br \/>\u00bd cup frozen blueberries (or berry of your choice)<br \/>1 kiwifruit, peeled\u00a0<br \/>1\/3 cup milk (e.g. low fat dairy, almond, soy)\u00a0<br \/>1 tbsp nut butter (e.g. almond, cashew, peanut) (optional)\u00a0<br \/>2\u20133 ice cubes<\/p>\n<p><em>To Serve<\/em><\/p>\n<p>3 tbsp unsweetened yoghurt\u00a0<br \/>\u00bd tsp ViBERi blackcurrant powder (optional)<br \/>4\u20135 thin slices of kiwifruit, banana or a sprinkle of fresh berries\u00a0<br \/>1 tsp coconut chips\u00a0<br \/>1 tsp chia seeds\u00a0<br \/>1 tsp goji berries<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Method<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>1. Add all smoothie bowl ingredients to a blender and blitz until a thick and smooth consistency.<\/p>\n<p>2. Pour into a deep bowl and sprinkle remaining blackcurrant powder over top.
