Frequently Asked Questions

How does adding the Gourmet recipe work?

You can now add a Gourmet recipe to your My Choice order each week! If you select one of our delicious gourmet meals, an additional cost per plate will automatically be added to the selected week. The cost will always be specified to you when selecting your recipes for the week.

Can I pre-select which proteins I want to receive?

No BUT we will remember what you chose the week before, so if you don’t remember to go in and select your meals, you will receive similar proteins the following week.

What information is available about each recipe?

Each recipe will have the featured protein in the recipe title as well as any relevant recipe tags (e.g. Vegetarian). When you are selecting your meals in the account area, simply click on each recipe image for more detailed information including ingredients, nutritional information, cooking instructions and timings.

Where and when can I see the upcoming recipes?

The upcoming recipes are available to view under the Deliveries tab. You'll always be able to see two weeks in advance and any delivery weekend you'll be able to see the next three weeks from Friday through Sunday! Tip: If you get your My Food Bag delivery on a Saturday or Sunday, use the arrival of your delivery as a reminder to check the next week's menu!

When is the cut-off for swapping your recipes?

Just like the order cut-off, all recipes must be selected by 11:59pm on Sunday for the following week.

When will I find out what pantry staples I need for the week?

You will receive a 'Coming Your Way this Weekend' email every Tuesday. In this email, we will confirm the recipes you have selected and include the pantry staples required for each.

How many vegetarian recipes are available each week in My Choice?

There are 3 - 4 vegetarian or plant based recipes each week. These can easily be combined with fish, with 1 - 2 recipes a week, to create a pescatarian menu if you want too!

What does the 'Lower Calorie' label on a recipe mean?

Whenever you see a recipe with the label 'Lower Calorie' you can be assured that each serve will be 550 calories or less. Taking inspiration from our Fresh Start range these meals will be light but will still finger-licking delicious and leaving you full and happy at the end.
