Lamb Shepherd's Pie with Buttered Veggies

Ingredients

LAMB SHEPHERD’S PIE

  • 1 lamb Shepherd’s pie

BUTTERED VEGGIES

  • ¼ head cauliflower
  • 1 carrot
  • 2 tablespoons butter

Steps

  1. oven to 220°C. Line an oven tray with baking paper.
  2. Place Lamb Shepherd’s Pie onto prepared tray. Use a blunt knife to carefully cut pie in half widthways to ensure even cooking. Bake for 25-30 minutes, until heated through.
  3. While pie cooks, cut cauliflower into small florets and thinly slice carrot. Set both aside.
  4. When pie has about 8 minutes cook time remaining heat a drizzle of oil and butter in a medium fry-pan on medium heat. Add veggies to pan and cook for about 4 minutes, until tender. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
  5. divide lamb Shepherd’s pie between plates and serve buttered veggies on the side.
