My Winter Wellness Bag provides comforting recipes perfect for Winter with a healthy twist. Each week’s menu features a hero wellness ingredient and contains a slow cook recipe, healthy comfort food recipe, warming salad recipe and a hearty soup.
Each week will focus on a different theme - Aromatics, Vitamin C, Zinc and Selenium, Pre- and Pro-biotics and Vitamin A. From ginger to capsicum and miso to butternut, My Winter Wellness Bag is packed with nutrient rich foods to aid your immune systems this Winter!
My Winter Wellness Bag does contain both gluten and dairy however like all My Food Bag recipes, all ingredients with allergens are clearly marked so you are able to make substitutions with ingredients you have at home.
The calorie range is the same as our other My Food Bag meals – 450 – 700 calories per plate. A range of carbohydrates will be featured including kumara, pumpkin, butternut, rice, bulgur, quinoa, pasta and bread - and, key sources of protein include chicken, beef, pork, salmon – as well as vegetarian sources such as haloumi, chickpeas and lentils.
