Candied Nuts

Ingredients

  • cups walnuts
  • cups pecans
  • ½ cups maple syrup
  • flaky sea salt to taste

Instructions

  • Place walnuts and pecans in a bowl alongside maple syrup and combine.
  • Heat a non-stick fry pan on medium-high heat and transfer nut and maple syrup mixture.
  • Cook, stirring frequently, until syrup is caramelised, and nuts look toasted and golden. Add sea salt whist cooking and allow nuts to crystallise
  • Transfer to a lined baking tray or glass bowl to cool. Enjoy!
