At My Food Bag, we prioritise whole, minimally processed foods with a focus on quality. Serving sizes and overall nutrition profile do vary depending on the recipe, but in general, our bags are designed to serve 1, 2, 4 or 6 people.

Our nutrition team and chefs design our recipes with balance in mind to cover off the major food groups. Our meals typically follow the plate model which reflect the latest Ministry of Health Eating and Activity guidelines. This is typically ½ plate vegetables (mainly non-starchy), ¼ plate protein foods and ¼ plate carbohydrate foods.

Heart Healthy

This recipe range is full of heart healthy goodness without compromising on taste. Developed with support from the Heart Foundation, we've focused on creating meals that provide plenty of fibre-rich veggies, whole grains, good fats and heart-healthy sources of protein like beans and legumes. We use herbs, spices, chilli and carefully selected dressings and sauces to deliver the flavour.

You'll spot plenty of recipes in our range featuring our Nutritionist's Pick tag. These recipes are selected by our in-house nutrition team as the healthiest picks of the week. You can find the nutrition information for each recipe in your account area by clicking on the recipe image. You’ll also see the total calories, carbohydrate, protein and fat per serve on the front of each recipe card that we supply to you.

Do you cater for any dietary requirements or allergies?

We aim to provide a wide range of recipes to suit different dietary needs. You can see the ingredients each recipe contains before choosing it. We also provide allergen information for every recipe and each ingredient. This means you have the information to decide whether the recipe is suitable for you and make any substitutions as needed. We’d always recommend checking the product label once it arrives in case there are any last-minute changes to your order.
