Venison & Beef Spaghetti with Fresh Tomatoes & Garlic Crema

Ingredients
SPAGHETTI
- 1/2 red onion, finely diced
- 1/2 carrot, grated
- 1 pack lean ground venison & beef
- 1 pack spaghetti Bolognese spices
- 1 can tomato passata
- 1/3 pack spelt spaghetti
- 1 pack courgette zoodles
TO SERVE
- 1 pack garlic crema
- 1/2 punnet cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1 bunch basil, leaves picked
Steps

Bring a pot of salted water to the boil.

Prep & cook spaghetti sauce. Heat 1 tsp oil in a fry-pan on medium-high heat. Cook onion and carrot for about 3 minutes, until tender.

Add venison and beef to pan and cook for 4-5 minutes, until starting to brown. Add Bolognese spices and cook for about 1 minute, until fragrant.

Add tomato passata and 1/2 tsp salt and cook for about 5 minutes, until thickened. Season to taste.

Cook spaghetti. Cook pasta in pot of boiling water for 6-8 minutes, until tender. Add courgette zoodles to pot and then drain. Return pasta and zoodles to pot and season to taste.

Meanwhile, prep garnishes.

Serve spaghetti topped with sauce, garlic crema, tomatoes and basil.
