
Mouth-Watering Cheesy Beef Sliders with Beetroot Slaw

Ingredients
Sliders
- 50g Colby cheese, grated
- 1 pack slider buns
Beef
- 1 drizzle of oil
- 1 carrot, grated
- 300g beef mince
- 1/2 pack burger spices
- 1 Tbsp flour
- 1/2 cup beef stock
- 1 Tbsp tomato sauce
Slaw
- 1 Tbsp mayonnaise
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- 150g slaw
- 1/2 beetroot, grated
To Serve
- 2 Tbsp burger sauce

Preheat oven to 220°C (or 200°C fan bake). Set aside a lined baking tray.

Grate carrot. Heat oil in a medium frypan on medium-high heat. Add carrot, beef and 1/2 pack burger spices and cook, stirring, for 4-5 minutes, until beef is browned. Add flour, stock and tomato sauce and cook for a further 2-3 minutes, until slightly thickened. Season with salt and pepper.

Do not separate individual buns. Place hand flat on top of buns. Use a bread knife to slice through all of the buns horizontally, taking care not to pull them apart. Grate cheese.

Place bottom buns in lined baking tray. Top with an even layer of beef, cheese and top buns. Bake for about 6 minutes, until cheese is melted and buns are golden brown.

Grate beetroot in a medium bowl and toss with remaining slaw ingredients. Season to taste with salt and pepper.

Sliders on a tray with burger sauce and slaw on the side. Pull apart to serve.
