Fresh Start approved, free range chicken in a delicious creamy mushroom & spinach sauce. Served with a sprinkle of almonds and a side of mashed potato. This one is a crowd pleaser.
Ingredients
Potato Mash
- 200g potatoes, peeled & diced
To Serve
- 1/2 pack sliced almonds
Creamy Chicken
- 1 pack Ready Made Creamy Mushroom Chicken

Peel and dice potato, add to a large pot and cover with hot tap water and a pinch of salt. Cook on high heat for 15-20 minutes, until very tender. Drain and return to pot. Mash until smooth and season to taste with salt and pepper.

When potatoes have about 10 minutes remaining remove film from creamy mushroom chicken and microwave on high for 6-8 minutes, until piping hot. Stir halfway through cook time. Alternatively, preheat oven to 180°C on bake. Remove film seal completely, place on an oven tray and cook for 20 minutes, or until piping hot. Remove from oven on tray.

Mash with creamy mushroom chicken and sprinkle over almonds.
