Beef Steaks with Tomato Salad and Garlic Aioli

  • 800g potatoes
  • 2 carrots


  • 3 tomatoes
  • 1 sweet Palermo capsicum
  • 100g feta cheese *


  • 1 pack beef sirloin steaks
  • 1 pack beef spices

To Serve

  • ½ pack garlic aioli


  1. Cook chips Preheat oven to 220°C. Preheat BBQ grill to medium, if using. Cut potatoes and carrots into 1cm chips and toss with a drizzle of oil on two lined oven trays. Season and bake for about 25 minutes, swapping trays half way through, until tender and golden.
  2. Prep salad Thinly slice tomatoes and capsicum into rounds and arrange on a plate or platter. Crumble over feta.
  3. Cook beef Pat beef dry, season and toss with beef spices and a small drizzle of oil. Heat a small drizzle of oil in a fry- pan on medium heat. Cook beef for 3-4 minutes each side, for medium (depending on thickness). or until cooked to your liking. Rest covered. Alternatively cook beef on BBQ.
  4. To finish Drizzle salad with a little olive oil and vinegar just before serving and season. Thinly slice beef against the grain and toss in any resting juices.
  5. Serve Beef, chips and salad with garlic aioli.
