From the Wellness Panel: 5 Things our Fresh Start Recipe Developer Amber is Loving This Spring

Spring has finally sprung and with the change in season often comes changes in behaviours – whether that’s what we’re eating, how we’re exercising, and so much more. Throughout the 6 Week Kickstart we’ll be sitting down with each of our Wellness Panel to get a little insight into what they’re loving this spring.

Here’s 5 things Amber is loving this Spring!

1. ASPARAGUS – my favourite vegetable. I await its return each year (but I also don’t mind a little canned asparagus roll year-round!) 

2. DAY LIGHT SAVINGS – for me getting up earlier than I have to in the morning to exercise is such a tax, so longer days means I can get out after work and help any stress from the day melt away. 

3. THE GARDEN – watching my garden come back to life and planting for summer! I’m a lover of all things Italian so basil and tomato plants are always first on the list. 

4. BREAKFAST – with the weather getting warmer I’m craving a lighter breakfast. On a Sunday I meal prep a weeks worth of chia pudding and lately I have been cooking a rhubarb and blueberry compote to go with it and its SO YUM! I finish it off with a little sprinkle of our Nutty Raspberry toasted muesli from The Kitchen for added crunch. 

5. PIZZA! – I’ve been loving the latest Chef’s Table Netflix episodes on pizza, and I’m really looking forward to getting my pizza oven out with the weather getting better.
