Returns and Refunds Policy – The My Food Bag Shop

All purchases from the My Food Bag Shop are one-off orders. When you purchase a product from the My Food Bag Shop, you will not be signed up to any of our subscription services (but if you separately subscribe to one of our regular meal kits, that subscription will continue in the usual way unless you choose to cancel the subscription or pause deliveries in accordance with our terms).

Order Cancellations & Changes

  • By ordering a product from the My Food Bag Shop, you agree to receive it. Once your order is placed and payment has been processed, it cannot be cancelled or refunded.
  • We understand plans change-if you need to make a change to your order, please contact us as soon as possible. While we’ll do our best to accommodate reasonable requests, changes are not guaranteed and are subject to stock availability, delivery schedules and whether we’ve started fulfilling your order.

Damaged or Spoiled Products

  • If a product arrives damaged or spoiled, we may ask for photographic evidence and/or a sample of the product to investigate.
  • As we deliver fresh food items, we do not require you to return the items. However, we kindly ask that you note the affected food item and its expiry date, so we can track the production and delivery batch, and apply our quality control procedures.
  • If the issue is confirmed, we will either:
    1. Send a replacement product by courier (if available)
    2. Issue a credit to your online account, or
    3. Provide a refund to your original payment method.
  • Credits issued to your account are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged or refunded for cash.
  • Please check all best before dates upon delivery and consume products accordingly. Many items can be frozen unless stated otherwise.

Incorrect or Missing Items

  • If you receive an incorrect Bag or Product or something is missing from your order, you may:
    1. Keep the item with no charge adjustment, or
    2. Reject the incorrect product, in which case we’ll provide a refund for the item originally ordered.
  • In the rare event of receiving an incorrect Bag or Product, we will:
    1. Replace it if possible, or
    2. Refund the value of the originally ordered Bag.
  • If you choose to reject an incorrectly delivered Bag or Product, we may arrange collection. If the Bag or Product is partially consumed or returned in a different condition than delivered, we reserve the right to charge you partially or fully for it.

Other Important Notes

  • This Returns and Refunds Policy does not affect any of your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act (CGA).
  • Ordering for someone else? You're authorising us to deliver on your behalf to the address provided at checkout.
  • Orders placed through the Shop will not affect your ongoing meal kit subscription (if any).
