Caprese Bagels

Fresh and simple, this Caprese Bagel kit is the perfect summer breakfast or lunch. Using sweet, in season tomatoes, fresh mozzarella and basil, you have not only a simple and easy meal, but a delicious one too!
Servings 4 bagels


  • 1 pack sesame bagels
  • 2 tomato
  • 1 pack mozzarella, thinly sliced
  • 4 tsp olive oil
  • 1 bunch basil, leaves picked


  • Preheat grill to high.
  • Cut 1 bagel in half and toast under grill for 1-2 minutes. Keep an eye on the bagels to ensure they do not burn.
  • Thinly slice half a tomato and mozzarella.
  • Layer tomato and mozzarella on the toasted bagel. Drizzle over 1 tsp of balsamic vinegar and olive oil. Top with basil.
