It’s so easy to make your own compotes and jams at home, and the Le Creuset Professional Spatula is the perfect tool for stirring and folding (whether hot or cold!) and scraping every last inch out of the pot. Try subbing out the rhubarb for other fruits if you can’t get your hands on it or like to experiment!
- 3 cups rhubarb chopped
- 3 Tbsp sugar
- 3 Tbsp water
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- Place all compote ingredients in pot on high heat and stir together using your Le Creuset Spatula.
- Bring to the boil, then reduce heat to low-medium and simmer for 10 minutes until all the rhubarb has broken down, stirring occasionally.
- Let cool, then using your Professional Spatula, scrape out of the pot into a jar, and store in the fridge.
- Serve with breakfast muesli on yoghurt or as a dessert with ice cream.
