Quick Pulled Chicken Hawker Rolls

Quick Chicken Hawker Roll Kit, Serves 2

Simply heat diced chicken with our favourite Indonesian-inspired nasi goreng paste and coconut milk for a delicious filling to your roti 'taco' or hawker roll. Garnished with fresh coriander and crispy shallots, this delightful meal is ready to eat in just 15 minutes!

  • 1 drizzle of oil
  • 300 g free range chicken breast, diced
  • 40 g veggie nasi goreng paste
  • 100 ml light coconut milk
  • 1 pack flaky roti
  • 150 g slaw


  • Heat oil in a large frypan on medium-high heat. Add chicken and nasi goreng paste and cook for 6-8 minutes, stirring, until browned and cooked through. Stir through coconut milk and cook for 2 minutes, until hot through. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Remove from pan and set aside in a bowl to serve. Wipe pan clean and return to medium-high heat.
  • Place one roti in pan and cook 1 minute per side, until lightly toasted and crispy. Repeat with remaining roti. Once warmed, scrunch or squash edges of roti towards the centre for a more fluffy texture.
  • Fill roti with slaw and pulled chicken.
